my debian(sarge, kernel 2.6.4) cannot start fcitx.
the following is the locale command's output:
$ locale
LANG=zh_CN
LC_CTYPE="zh_CN"
LC_NUMERIC="zh_CN"
LC_TIME="zh_CN"
LC_COLLATE="zh_CN"
LC_MONETARY="zh_CN"
LC_MESSAGES="zh_CN"
LC_PAPER="zh_CN"
LC_NAME="zh_CN"
LC_ADDRESS="zh_CN"
LC_TELEPHONE="zh_CN"
LC_MEASUREMENT="zh_CN"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="zh_CN"
LC_ALL=zh_CN
$
my .bashrc looks like:
#FCITX
export XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"
export XIM=fcitx
export XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx
#LOCALE setup
export LC_ALL=zh_CN
export LANG=zh_CN
after login to gnome 2.4, i issue the following command
$ fcitx &
and then it says
$ [1]+ Done fcitx
and i am still unable to input chinese.
anybody can help this poor guy?
