fedora14里面如何为显示器增加一个分辨率？

我的笔记本显示器分辨率为1440x900，
我想增加一种1280x800的，因为投影仪是这个分辨率。
我想改，结果下拉框里面只有：
1440*900
1024*768
800*600
640*480
下拉框  里面怎么把1280*800加进去呢？
