奇怪的速度问题

我在linux下面打开什么东西都有停顿，但是打开了一次后再开就基本上没有什么停顿了(出来部分程序如xmms等)，不知道是什么原因，这个现象在普通用户下更为突出，在root下面还好点，我用的是cr1.7+256ddr应该不会有这样的问题呀，dma我也打开了，真是很奇怪。

请问你的swap分区有多大？swap分区一般是物理内存的一倍。

我的swap分区的大小没什么问题，我记得这个问题以前好象是没有，因为我以前都只用root登陆，在用普通用户登陆后就出现了这样的问题，连root的速度也降下来了

这个问题，可能是你加载了什么服务，或者安装了什么软件，覆盖了某些库文件。

When you load an application at the first time, the application is read from the hard disk. However, if you exit this application and reload it again. In the second time or later, this application is loaded from the cache of the main memory. Since the accessing speed of RAM is much faster than that of the hard disk, so you could feel the application is loaded faster. :p
