我的也有类似的问题。。。
一开始是pinyin和table都不能load，后来我
--prefix=/usr，table可以了，但是pinyin还是不行，土了呵呵

升级到scim0.9.6后，pinyin模块可以加载了，但是，无法激活。

scim－panel出现，scim－setup也完全正常，但就是无法激活输入法的图标选项。

是不是只能支持指定的几种locale？我的系统的locale只有POSIX和C，而且没有管理员权限。另外，scim对字体有没有要求？

POSIX, C 就根本不支持中文，怎么激活输入法？起码得用 zh_CN

估计是拼音模块找不到数据文件。

看看数据文件是不是装到了正确位置，并且权限正确。如果 prefix=/usr 那么数据文件应该装到：/usr/share/scim/chinese/

is it right?
BTW, scim can't load pinyin module even I run it as root. So it seems the privilege is right.
