fcitx安装时missing出错

我是个初学者,请大家帮我看看我遇到的问题

我的系统是RH7.2 Kernel 2.4
安装fcitx时出现以下出错信息:
[root@localhost fcitx-3.0.0rc]# ./configure

[root@localhost fcitx-3.0.0rc]# make
cd . && /bin/sh /temp/fcitx-3.0.0rc/missing --run autoconf
FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.58 or higher required for  this script
make通不过,请问这是什么原因引起的,我该怎么解决

通过对./configure的输出和make输出的分析,本人认识到这不是missing出错的问题
可能有3个问题,目前已经解决了2个,请大家帮我看看

1、针对输出checking for pkg-config... no，可以确定pkgconfig没有安装，在http://www.freedesktop.org/softw ... r.gz并安装成功
2、针对FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.58 or higher required for this script，可以确定autoconf的版本太低或没有安装，在http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3� ... .bz2并安装成功
3、针对conifguer:WARNING:No xft found用GOOGLE查了一大圈也没有找到合适的Xft，所以没有安装

重新./configure后，只有conifguer:WARNING:No xft found,skipping configure for FreeType and xft出现，用rpm -q xft没有找到该包，不知如何做了，请各位老兄帮我，谢了。

XFT一般是X自己带的，不过，RH7.2好象没有XFT的

将X升级到4.3.0好象就可以了
