suse9.1下没有locate命令？

以前查找文件时就感觉用find实在慢得出奇，然后就改用locate了；可到了suse下发现locate不能用了，“查找”程序里倒是有一个“Use Files Index”的选项，但是不可选。
各位大虾，有没有suse下能用的快速文件查找程序？

use yast2 to install software
search for 'locate'
you can get 'findutils-locate'
that is it
remember updatedb

I am install SuSE from an ftp site
So the software installation for me
is jast to search from my install ftp site
I think if you are using cdrom installation
yast2 will give you a hint to insert cdrom-X

噢，首先要多谢楼上的。
但我是用1张光盘装的perosnal版，搜“locate”没查出来。

以前我在Windows下装过一个叫Agent Ransack的软件，不是用文件索引的方法，而是采用一种特别的算法，大大的提高了文件搜索的速度，甚至全盘搜索都能够极其迅速的完成(当然没有Mac的那么夸张)，我后来干脆扔了Windows自带的搜索了。
不知道Linux的快速文件搜索软件有哪些？
