office套件主要指日常办公用的文本处理软件，和openoffice类似的。比如  abiword ，openoffce ，starsuit 等。。。。。



推荐软件的说明：

一个软件一贴；主页地址；有详细的安装方法；通用的源码包安装应该有所谈到；依赖关系的说明；调用方法等，如有必要，还有附带抓图。

为了整理列表的条理性，整理期间不可在本帖后面提问，因为这个毕竟是指南性的，属于目录式教程。

注：本帖是整理软件的列表，如没有详细的信息的帖子可能会分离出去。请理解。

文字处理最推荐的是永中Office。
推荐理由：
1、真的兼容M$ Word，真正做到了word里显示是什么样子永中里显示就是什么样子，一行一字都不差。其它的office全不行（除了redoffice我没有试过），像OO什么的即使宣称支持，不过打开doc或保存成doc后样子都变了。就凭这一点我就选他。没办法，人生活在社会中的，你不想辛苦几天写的报告boss打不开吧？或者pp的报告到别人那里都变样了，表格和图片文字糊在一起吧？那就一定要用永中。
2、国产软件，非OO系。支持国货！
3、字体，自动支持粗斜体，无论你的linux是不是支持。
EIO也有缺点：
1、用JAVA编写，速度超慢。我的笔记本配置p4m 2.2G 512M用起来还算流畅，256M的时候打开大文档（3M+）速度就比较慢了，而且有时侯打字一顿一顿的。
2、非free的软件，纯商业软件啊！不过linux版是可以免费无限使用的，超过试用次数后每次打开eio会弹出一个对话框提示你，还不太烦人。

安装：
      自带installer，直接执行，全中文界面安装。非rpm系的发行版需要先自行安装jre，注意只能安装jre1.4.x,1.5不行！装好jre后做一个连结到/usr/java/j2re1.4.2_04然后再安装，安装过程中eio会提示你安装jre，不理它一路继续就可以了。

有关字体：
      永中自带了4种中文字体，都叫永中X体，感觉就是win下的X体。可以把win下的字体目录连接到 /usr/share/fonts/下，这样永中就能认出并试用这些字体了。

“./setup: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeui.so.32: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”

我系统里没有安装GNOME,也不想安装它，那我是不是就用不了永中了？

楼上的，建议你去google一下 “手动安装永中”，记得看到过一个手工安装的文档，不用自带的installer。
