我装系统的时候,语言包出错了,没装上语言包,现在系统language选项里,没有chinese,怎么装语言包

用的gnome还是kde?
gnome的话装这俩包就行了

现在终端运行apt-get install language-support-zh，再在语言设置中修改。

It spends me 3 days to make Chinese run in my Ubuntu 7.100
The cause why "Couldn't find package language-support-zh" (and also scim-pinyin) is:

Wrong Software Source selected!!! (and it's options)

Details:
Run: "System-> Administration -> Software Sources"
"Ubuntu Software->Download from"
I tried to set many servers (USA, China...), but still "Couldn't find package ...""

!!!!But, after I choose the check-box "Canonical-supported SW..." & "Community-maintained SW..." !!!
These packages can be found!!!!

先换源,再在菜单里选择语言.

这回更搞笑了,前面一直语言为英文的,搞scim几次没成功,就装了个fcitx,就是出不来界面;
这回把"软件更新源"换了,语言设为中文了,也装成功了scim-pinyin,结果先前装的fcitx是默认的输入法,有趣.
还好,fcitx和scim相安无事,切换也不错

我的装了fcitx，scim就罢工了！
