Ntop简明安装手册

NTOP 是一套監測區域網路內封包數量的軟體，它可以搭配 MRTG ，找出網路大量封包暴增之所在.
同時以圖形化顯示，讓統計結果簡單易讀--(网上抄来的 呵呵)
最近看到网上都有人推荐使用Ntop 所以我也装了一下试试 这里我就把我的安装方法和大家分享一下 建议安装前面也可以看看包内的INSTALL文件 里面方法也想的很详细了 如果你E文够GOOD


首先到http://www.ntop.org 下载最新的tarball 也有rpm包下载 不过我还是喜欢自己编译..
#tar xzvf ntop-2.2c.gz
cd ntop 可以看到有2个目录
cd gdchart0.94c
./configure 然后会提示你
Do not forget to build:
1. gd-1.8.3/libpng-1.2.4
2. zlib-1.1.4/
我们先build libpng 吧
cd gd-1.8.3/libpng-1.2.4
cp scripts/makefile.linux Makefile (如果你不是LINUX 就选择其他的吧)
#make 好libpng已经建立好了
我们在build zlib吧
cd zlib-1.1.4
./confugure
make
cd ..
make
接下来就是编译ntop了
cd ntop
./configure
make
make install
然后建立log目录
mkdir mkdir /var/log/ntop/
启动ntop
ntop -P /var/log/ntop/ -u nobody &
访问 http://you ip:3000

老大我按照你的方法做了但是还是有个问题啊！我在
cd ntop
./configure
make
make install
当我执行make 时提示
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
但是我是在ntop的目录下执行的啊！我./configure已经执行好了！

这2个编译过了吗

安装NTOP后，开始是正常的，由于Linux的NAT机器性能较差（Pentium 233，160M内存，而且有250个客户），所以想停止ntop，但是用kill或者killall都没用，请问怎样才能杀死进程？

我启动ntop的命令是：

ntop -P /var/log/ntop/ -w 10.28.176.21:3000 &

他提到可以使用intop来实现文本方式的流量检测，但是我安装的系统无法找到这个intop，不知哪位做过？

我用 kill -9 强制杀死了

我用的是RH8.0我现在按照ntop的帖子作到了最后的几步了。还是遇到了问题
[root@wallace gdchart0.94c]# cd ../ntop/
[root@wallace ntop]# ./configure
返回提示
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
Check your system clock
小弟不知道问题出在哪里啊？还有如果我要继续执行make 提示
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
