mysql 运行总是说没有 host.pid文件 怎么回事阿？？

我在debain下安装的5.02版本，在安装完之后没有var目录 我就自己建立了一个，然后运行了
hehe:/usr/local/mysql/bin# ./mysql_install_db
Installing all prepared tables
Fill help tables

但是它没有给我建立hehe.pid文件 不知道怎么半了 手册上没有说明白也查了些问题 还是没解决阿

我把 /usr/local/mysql/var/mysql/host.frm 拷贝到 /libexec/mysql/ 下还是不行

问题是我没有pid文件啊

*.pid 是 process ID 的文本文件，内容就是当前mysqld的进程ID号。你可以手工建立一个，mysql重启后会自动重写改文件。
其他的问题还暂时不知。

把 var 目录的 用户和组的权限都改成 mysql

chown -R mysql:mysql var
