关于联想天使II型的外置USB的MODEM的问题？

有哪位成功安装过联想天使II型的外置USB的MODEM？（在REDHAT8。0），或者那里有驱动程序的？？？麻烦各位高手帮忙！谢谢了。:eek:

没有用过这样的猫，对于USB的接口的，最好能把猫的芯片组找一下。因为USB的一般是要驱动的，没有芯片组，没有办法找驱动。

在REDHET8。0中的硬件浏览器中已经看到有USB的MODEM的项目了，就是拔号时选择所有的选项都试过了，都是探测MODEM的时候无反应？？？？？:confused:

        Unfortunately the hcfusbmodem driver only supports the Cadmus2
        chipset internally used by Apple in later generation PowerPC desktop
        and notebook machines. Most if not all external USB HCF modems
        on the market use an earlier chipset (Cadmus1), which requires too many
        workarounds and excessive polling by the CPU to be well supported
        under Linux.

仔细看一下。。。另外看一下是不是有驱动？
