sorry,i don`t know how to input in chinese.
i`m a fresh man in linux,i want to learn php and mysql.

i use the following codes:
$mysql_db = mysql_connect("localhost","root","");
but the system give me the following information:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()

why?
and how to resole this problem?

i will appreciate it if you give me the answer!
