请教：编译2.6.18.1内核后，进不去X-WINDOW

刚刚编译完，只能进入字符界面！进不去X-WINDOW！

我的OS是：UBUNTU6.0.6  显卡是：NV的GF4

           原来的内核2.6.15完全正常

提示错误： Failed to start the X Server

       It is likely that it is not set up correctly

nvidia换成nv试试：OK！
不过有点BUG，NV的驱动用不了，而且启动画面 没有，即选择了2.6.18后就是灰屏，直到DOSFSCK 检查出现
