求助qmail的安装

我的系统为rh8
我安装qmail总是不行，请高手帮帮忙。
我先下在了qmail-1.03
用#tar zxvf qmail-1.03.tar.gz
#cd qmail-1.03
#make setup check
#./config出现如下提示
[root@localhost qmail-1.03]# ./config
Your hostname is localhost.
soft error
Sorry, I couldn't find your host's canonical name in DNS.
You will have to set up control/me yourself.

我又下在了一个qmail的安装包qmail_setup-v1.5.3.tar.gz
下面是它的redhat
1. Please set "setup" file.
2. set file's attribute for 755
   chmod 755 setup
5. Enter
   ./setup

   run "setup" shell script

该包目前有的功能
1、Qmail帐号与系统帐号的分离。
2、Qmail邮件列表功能。
3、Qmail自动回复功能。
4、对vpopmail的支持。
5、邮件帐号WEB管理方式。
6、邮件的WEB使用方式，如：WEB发邮件，查看邮件。
7、能任意调整WEB的CGI以及HTML路径。
8、选择性安装apache。
9、SMTP服务的密码验证功能,能有效的防止别人利用自己的服务器发送匿名信。
10、选择性安装webmail。
11、对虚拟域的支持。
12、增加对Linux系统的支持，安装过程中自动的判断系统进行安装。
13、增加qmail的管理脚本，安装后可以运行qmail start|stop|restart来管理qmail。
14、全面支持Mysql数据库，只要在SQL设置区里打开数据库的支持，并设置好数据库密码，就可
以支持数据库了。
15、增加了QmailAdmin和sqwebmail的中文界面！！[新]
16、对很多包有是否安装的可选择余地！[新]

安装方法：
1、用编辑器编辑setup文件，设置变量，如：
DomainName,CGI路径，HTML路径。MAIL管理员密码等。
2、设置文件"setup"文件为755。
  chmod 755 setup
3、运行setup进行安装。
  ./setup
4、等待安装完毕......

该包对以前版本的比较。
1、vpopmal升级到5.2.1版本
2、qmailadmin升级到1.0.6版本
3、apache升级到2.0.40版本
4、sqwebmail更新到3.3.7版本
5、对Linux系统的兼容性增强[新]
6、增加对开发软件的验证，比如gcc,make等。[新]
7、对qmail的日志记录加强[新]
8、对安装过程的追踪记录，在/var/uninstall文件夹里[新]
9、对很多包有是否安装的可选择余地！[新]
10、增加了QmailAdmin和sqwebmail的中文界面！！[新]

可是当我用./setup的时候提示我[root@localhost Qmail_setup]# ./setup
Checking...for gcc
/usr/bin/gcc
Checking...for g++
/usr/bin/g++
Checking...for make
/usr/bin/make
Checking...for perl5
which: no perl5 in (/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/lib)
Sorry,Your system not perl5 program!
[root@localhost Qmail_setup]#

但我的rh8已经自带了perl5呀？
请高手帮我看看是什莫问题，导致这两种方法都不能安装qmail

问题解决了。
用./config-fast abc.com
这个不是错误，而是dns的问题。
不过那个qmail的安装包还是不能用，我再rh 7.2, rh8下都说找不到perl5
