SuSE下vmware4.05怎么了？不爽啊！

SuSE下vmware4.05虚拟安装winxp或win2k时，安装过程经常死机，（虚拟机死机),有没有人遇到过？我已经安装n遍了，总是不成功。Fedora下毫无问题。

你是否在menu.lst里添加了apic ？
我没有遇到过死机的情况，从来没有过呢。

是vmmon.o 和 vmnet.o（希望没记错）这两个文件的问题，vmware的安装程序会按内核编译出来。可是在suse9上不能用，要用suse自带的版本（suse8就没有这样的问题）。用YaST更新一下内核就行了，如果升级了内核，好像也不能用，一定要原来CD上的版本。

我按照老板的说法，起动SuSE暴慢，进vmware根本进不去
起动SuSE整个过程要不少于5分钟~~~~

SUSE9是这么慢的啦！

如果再内核不加apic,我的在SuSE下也可以使用电源管理，并且速度也是很快的
