如何安装salstat

最近需要分析一些数据，想安装salstat，载下来了 http://sourceforge.net/projects/salstat/files/ ，解压后里面有个salstat的可执行文件

readme.txt里有一段是：
INSTALLATION (Linux executable):
This is in some ways more complex, but in other ways easier. Unpack the archive
('gunzip salstat*' then 'tar -xvf salstat*') and everything will open into a
directory called salstat. If you wish, you can place the directory in /usr/share or
somewhere in your home directory. The file called (simply) 'salstat' is the
executable, but you may wish to write a short bash script to call the main
executable. There is also an icon file which can be used for KDE or
Gnome shortcuts if required. The Python source code is also included.

但不懂如何编写“bash script”，望相助

这段英文的意思是如果写一个script可能会更加方便。其实只需要直接调用salstat就可以了。

你可以将解开的文件放在~/bin/目录下，不用混在系统文件中，如上面所说的/usr/share

谢谢gnwd，“直接调用”指直接运行吗，但是点击那个salstat的可执行文件没反应
我已放到~/bin/目录下了

你在shell下运行会怎么样？有什么错误提示吗？该文件的权限是否是可执行的？请注意不要将单个的salstat文件放在~/bin目录中。

按照我的理解这段英文就是告诉你直接运行这个文件就可以了。其他的图标什么的，如果需要可以使用。

要不就是有些依赖库还缺失

在shell下运行是直接输入名称还是“./”加程序名
权限是可执行的

图中最后一行不是提示你缺失某个文件吗？
你试试运行
cnf libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

上面这样可能不行，反正你缺少这个文件。

我是用的sled11, 该文件位于compat包中，
你可以试试
sudo zypper in compact

不过照您提供的命令没效果，我YaST安装了compat就行了(非compact)

还有个问题想请教下
在该目录下直接输可执行程序的名称“salstat”与输“./salstat”是什么区别
./程序名 就是运行程序的意思吗

我觉得觉得自己老了。昨天给人家短信发送电话号码，我还核对了一下，结果还是发错了。这里也是，明明开始写的compat, 后来就写作compact了……

./salstat 是指运行当前目录下的salstat程序，“点”指代当前目录。这和windows是一样的。
如果你输入salstat，系统会在一串路径列表中搜索该文件，通常由于安全性原因，有可能不包含当前所在目录。

从上面可以看到，我这里是包含当前位置的，注意到冒号分割的中间有个点没有

我也顺便问问，你的截图是怎么做的？我使用gnome桌面，工作要求我经常截图，但是一直没有顺手的工具。虽然知道shutter程序好像很好，但是一直没有这个源。自己编译安装吧，听说编译安装这个软件比较麻烦，就懒得动了。
