How to upgrade firefox?

Currently I am using Firefox 0.8. After download firefox1.0 to my /home, I do not know how to install it. (firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz)
From YaST,I can not find this file, I can only shearch from the orginal disc firefox0.8. Would someone teach me how to upgrade.
I am very very beginer. Please provide detailed if possible.

请问你的SUSE是多少版本的??
9.2是1.0的火狐

如果是源码安装的话我没弄过
RPM的话可以通过YAST搞DEL
然后再通过安装RPM

哦,我EN不好,看不太懂

不过解决办法应该是
删除原来的0.8    安装新的1.0

我的是9.1的. 我能删掉firefox0.8但从YaST找不到download的firefox1.0.十分困惑.现用window才能输入中文,惭愧.

取网站下一个firefox安装就行了！

先解压
tar zxvf firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz
进去新生成的目录中看说明，一般有INSTALL或者README，或者直接就是一个bin文件，运行就安装

I download and able to get firefox-installer-bin file, after this how to run this installation program? Please advise. I can not run from YaST neither at the Run command.

网站下来的是一个压缩文件，解压后里面有个firefox-install文件，执行安装，会有图形界面
