How to install FC5 from Hard-Disk

my computer does not have CD-ROM . i just have a windows xp , and have grub for dos .
i just want to install FC5 from hard-disk .

before , everyone knows that we can install redhat 9 from hard-disk with loadlin and other tool .

so ,please help me .

提取第一张光盘的isolinux目录到C盘，解压grub for dos 到c盘然后编辑你的C盘下的boot/menu.lst 文件使其指向isolinux里的vmlinuz和initrd.img这两个文件。修改boot.ini加入一行c:\grldr="GRUB FOR DOS" 然后重启选择“GRUB FOR DOS”然后选你在boot/menu.lst编辑的title就进入引导了，再指定放iso的分区及目录就可以安装拉。

只要引导电脑进入安装界面即可.

在Linux下用dd将FC5自带的启动映像(8M)装入U盘,然后用这个优盘启动电脑即可.

你可以使用LiveCD或FDD版的Linux.

把CD1或DVD中的 isolinux/下的 vmlinuz和initrd.img提取出来。
启动进入到WinGrub
grub>root(hd0,x) x为你放ISO的地方
grub>kernel /dir**/vmlinuz    dir**是你放vmlinuz的地方
grub>initrd  /dir**/initrd.img
grub>boot
就可以安装了！

硬盘安装不能保证在每台机器上有效，至少我碰到的情况是这样的！
