[问题]系统不能登陆了（重新安装、update以后还是不能登陆应该是显示问题）

安装完系统以后，因为用单位的局域网上网，就四处乱试，改了一下主机名字，回到家里有更新了一下apt-get update，结果有一部分没有更新成功。
开机，提示有新程序更新，选择更新。
结果后来重新启动了一下机器，输入原来的用户名密码进不去了。用root提示“不允许从该屏幕登陆系统管理员”，该怎么办啊？莫非要重新安装系统？



下午重新安装系统，重新安装以后一切正常，但是运行apt-get update，重新启动以后依然不能登陆系统。

6次不能登陆以后，出字符界面，可以进行一些操作。

初步怀疑是显卡或者显示器的问题，我用的是ibm x30，请各位老大帮忙啊。

修改了一下xorg.conf，把默认的色彩改为16，对应的16位分辨率改为800*600，依然不能登陆进去。

在recovery mode下面以root登陆，运行startx可以进去，但是出一个提示：
