求助 新编译的内核不识别USB

求助啊 谢谢各位了
新编译的内核对U盘没有反应没有挂载，USB的选项已经选上了，启动进入原来的内核能识别的。
编译内核的时候，先导入原来内核的配置，打上bootsplash的补丁选上bootsplash，其他都没有变化，为什么对USB接口不支持？还有什么要点？
~_~ 把这个内核放去几台电脑实验，在2台成功，没问题的；2台失败，不识别。@_@一样的系统啊。
刚刚重新在问题电脑上本机编译，导入Fedora Core6的原版 .config文件，编译出来的内核启动时候居然报错：
insmod : error inserting '/lib/ext3.ko' : -1 Unknow symbol in module
mount :  error mounting /dev/root on /sysroot as ext3: No such device
setuproot : moving /dev failed : no such file or directory
setuproot : error mounting /proc  : no such file or directory
setuproot : error mounting /sys : no such file or directory
switchroot : mount  faild : no such file or directory
Kernel panic - not syncing : Attempted to kill init!
怎么回事？和硬件 芯片有关系的么？
