有人bootstrap过ubuntu吗？

我的光驱坏了， 为了安装Ubuntu， 我通过u盘启动系统，用命令debootstrap feisty xx http://xx安装了一个基本� ... �，一切顺利。
但是当我安装桌面系统的时候遇到了问题： 我安装桌面系统的命令是apt-get install xorg gnome-core gdm 安装过程顺利， 但是我在选session时只能选failsafe terminal才能登系统，其余情况下只能看到一个绿色的背景和一个鼠标， 其余什么也没有, 有人知道为什么吗？

我这个贴就是先登录到failsave terminal然后运行metacity & firefox&发的.

ps： 我以前安装Debian就是这样安装的

我装过，没有问题。你为什么不装gnome？只装gnome-core？

Could you please tell me what packages you have installed?
It seems that some gtk packages are missing. Everytime I try to run a gtk program it fails. I have tried installing gnome, but it makes no difference.
My input method stop working
