建议等CENTOS 5.3的朋友试用scientificlinux吧

俺是安装了SL了，基本是和RHEL 5.3一样的，当然，和CENTOS 5.3也不会有太多的区别，特别是搞教育或是科研的朋友，应该用这个版本，因为它包括的教育科研工具很多，虽然俺用不上 哈哈

装过SL5.2 , dvd忒大了 4G ，哈哈 不过安装的时候科学计算组件是可选的  没了这个就跟CentOS基本上一样了

是挺大的，5.3有4.3G，恐怖呀。

PS：是，没有那些科学计算组件，和CENTOS 5.3是一样的，不过，俺用它了，一样的 哈哈

其实基于Redhat重构的版本不少，我见过的就有五个左右，不过有些基本不做什么改动，有些改动很大。

是哦，没有ISO文件了，好在俺下载了1386版本并刻录成DVD了 哈哈

不知道为什么不提供下载了，是ISO有问题，俺安装没什么问题呀，至少STARDICT 可以用了，RHEL 5,3上都不行的。

咋看呀？俺不会，另外，我现在用2.6.27.18的内核了，自己编译的。

是这一项吗？

JMicron PATA support (PATA_JMICRON)

Enable support for the JMicron IDE controller, via the new
ATA layer.

上边的选项是在：

2. Serial ATA (prod) and Parallel ATA (experimental) drivers (ATA)
4. If you want to use a ATA hard disk, ATA tape drive, ATA CD-ROM or
