can I upgrade to alpha2?
Of course, but at your own risk.
It now has an RC version kernel, and pre-stable KDE and GNOME.
Just with three commands you can run Cooker, the development branch of Mandriva:
1. Remove the existing repositories: # urpmi.removemedia -a
2. Add the Cooker repository: # urpmi.addmedia --distrib --mirrorlist 'http://api.mandriva.com/mirrors/basic.cooker.i586.list'
3. Update the package list and update all installed software: # urpmi --auto-update |
