Solaris 10 12/02 ，这个算转贴了！

安装步骤:
install cd一般不需要，直接用cd1启动安装就行

Solaris 就不说了，可以看http://www.jan.exss.de/vmware/solaris/en_index.html

说一下vmware for Solaris的安装（引自chinaunix的“南非蜘蛛”小姐）
1、gunzip sunwxf86-vmware.tar.gz
2、tar -xvf sunwxf86-vmware.tar
3、pkgadd -d . SUNWxf86u
pkgadd -d . SUNWxf86r
The following packages are available:
1 SUNWxf86r XFree86 Driver Porting Kit (Root)
(i386) 4.2.0,REV=0.2002.02.10
2 SUNWxf86u XFree86 Driver Porting Kit (User)
(i386) 4.2.0,REV=0.2002.02.10
先安装2(user的包),在安装1(root的包),次序不能颠倒

之后运行kdmconfig配置显卡，显卡选择Video Device - XF86-VMWARE VMware virtual video adapter，关键在最后一步设置。虚拟分辨率一定要比所选的分辨率大一点,配置好后按F4跳过测试，重启动即可。

哎，还是CDE，当初sun和next一起制定了openstep，可是solaris却一直用cde，真不知道sun是咋想的

则么我在使用gunzip sunwxf86-vmware.tar.gz
的时候总是告诉我data length error
可是winrar解压都没问题啊
